Kalash is a veritable phenomenon of modern hip-hop. With his highly melodic style in both Creole and French, the young prince of dance-hall has risen to the challenge of seducing both his native Caribbean and the French hexagon. Since Kassav', he is the only West Indian artist to have managed to sell out the Accor Arena, with nearly 20,000 people in attendance. The legendary Bercy stadium was the setting for an exceptional concert in which his biggest hits were covered in unison by the young spectators. Alongside him on stage were the stars of the moment, including Damso, Ninho, Gazo and Maureen: the new generation of hip-hop is firmly in the spotlight.
