Burned out New York architect Daphne Bello arrives in the heart of the Rhodope mountains in Bulgaria to inherit the run-down homestead of a recently deceased 103-years-old grandmother she never knew. There she meets her wacky second cousin Orlin, who tries to double-cross her in order to save himself from bankruptcy. As she slowly uncovers the traumatic backstory of her long gone father and the true value of her inheritance, Daphne will get the chance to finally break away from everything which has been holding her back.
