Twisted Fate follows the turbulent journeys of John Ndange, an ambitious rapper; Larry, a fame-hungry hustler; and Floyd, a loverboy, all young men driven by different obsessions in modern-day Cameroon. John fights to rise in the challenging local music scene, torn between his passion and the crumbling support of his family and girlfriend, Sonita. Larry, desperate to outshine John, spirals into shady dealings with ruthless music producer DJ Flex, who controls the underbelly of the entertainment industry. Floyd tries everything to win over Sandra, even turning to manipulation and spiritual help. As the paths of these three intertwine, Flex introduces them to Mama Zuzu, a mysterious and powerful witch whose rituals promise to deliver their deepest desires for a deadly price. As love is betrayed, friendships implode, and sacrifices become literal, the trio learns that the climb to success in Cameroon's entertainment world is haunted by corruption, loss, and unforgivable choices. Years later, as truths unfold and redemption is sought, the story climaxes in a confrontation of past sins, forgiveness, and a final shot at greatness.
