One sweet night, Mare falls asleep and wakes up to the rays of the sun. She gets up and heads towards the staircase that will lead her into the depths of her torments and darkest nightmares inhabited by demons, hellish horses, and assassin golems.

The story of how the son of a Kuttanadan farmer Aadachayi who grows up to be an Agriculture officer and defends the Western Ghats like his foster mother is narrated to nature by his own mother Kuttanad and his foster mother, The Western Ghats. "We will never let go of the land which survived every threat till this moment "Aadachayi" revolves around the life of a farmer in Kuttanad, Kerala, often referred to as the "rice bowl of Kerala." The film portrays the trials and tribulations of the farming community, delving into their resilience, environmental challenges, and cultural richness. Set against the lush backwaters and paddy fields of Kuttanad, the story offers an authentic and heartfelt depiction of rural life, highlighting the significance of agriculture in the region.
