Dylan Gallagher has been crafting story since the wee age of 7, and he began writing screenplays at 12 with the goal of writing professionally in the entertainment industry. Traveling abroad before adolescence helped cement Dylan's interest in history and other cultures, and ever since, he's eagerly absorbed literature from all walks of life. After his stint at the New England prep school Phillips Exeter Academy, Dylan took their motto "non sibi" to heart and booked it to Los Angeles so he could tell stories that question people's selfish nature. He studied screenwriting and history at Loyola Marymount University. Dylan's first industry gig was as PA for Jerry Bruckheimer Films, where he soaked in as much professionalism (and pirating) as possible. But it wasn't until he found a home at Marvel that Dylan realized his passion for dark, complicated characters could flourish in television. Dylan also writes feature screenplays of various genres. Dylan's creative interests lie in a healthy Venn diagram of epic historical drama, taut action-thriller, and surreal horror. He isn't afraid of a little sardonic dark humor, either. No matter the genre, Dylan finds the most interesting personalities are those most compromised. Dylan's goal is to introduce audiences to characters they will hate themselves for loving. Because everyone deserves to be understood. And everyone deserves love. In his spare time, Dylan is trying to pull the sword from the stone and fighting demons with rock 'n roll.
