Timothy P. Brown a tour de force actor, who has built a dynamic career as a versatile performer in film, television, and theatre.

Brown is best known for recurring on Showtime Network's " I'm Dying up Here", produced by Jim Carrey. He also appeared in Netflix's hit original film "Dolemite is my Name", starring Eddie Murphy. The film went on to receive a Critics Choice Award and NAACP Image Award. Brown was last seen in Curtis '50 cent' Jackson's acclaimed, "Power Book III: Raising Canaan" on Starz.

On the stage, he starred in PCPA's production of Twelfth Night as Orsino. In 2018, he starred in 5-time Tony Nominee Producer Suzi Dietz production of "Anne" at the award-winning Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. Brown over the years has work-shopped several plays. The most recent was "Courtside" at the renowned Geffen Theatre in Los Angeles.

Brown started acting in high school when his good friend, the late Brandon Henson, encouraged him to audition for a play. Brown then went on to earn an M.F.A. in Theatre from Southern Methodist University.

Brown currently resides in Los Angeles with his lovely wife and newborn son.
