Charlie Benton is an outdoor adventurer and human trafficking investigations consultant. He spent 12 years as an American police detective specializing in human trafficking and homicide investigations. He has also been a surf instructor on Folly Beach in South Carolina and hosted a weekly punk rock show on his college's radio station. As an actor, Charlie was cast in his first principal role as Officer Richards in Cadılar Bayramı (2018).
