At the age of 18, Amy Allen moved from Los Angeles to San Francisco. After graduating, she went to work for ILM. As a Production Assistant, she worked on several films, including New York Çeteleri (2002), before going to work on Star Wars: Bölüm II - Klonlar'ın Saldırısı (2002).
