Nick Benas, an American writer, actor, and producer, was raised in Guilford, Connecticut.

After graduating from high school, Benas made a pivotal decision to serve his country, joining the United States Marine Corps. He dedicated four years of his life to the Marines. Following his initial enlistment, Benas, driven by a sense of duty, volunteered to re-enlist as a Marine and was deployed to Iraq after his spring semester of undergrad.

Upon his return from combat deployment, Benas sought to expand his horizons and pursue higher education. This time, he embarked on a new chapter in his life, obtaining both graduate and undergraduate degrees from Southern Connecticut State University.
