Grae Marino was born November 16th, the youngest of 5 kids to a father who was a WWII vet, and was also a former bass vocalist for two world renowned gospel a capella groups in the 1930s and 40s. Her mother a loving, bubbly, and inspiring force in her life, despite going blind at two and a half years old, studied music growing up. Having been raised in musical household it was no surprise, when Grae begin singing along with hymns at 10 months old. Grae first became enchanted with acting by watching Shirley Temple films with her father. By the age of 3, Grae participated in theatre, musical theatre, and community and church functions that also had her singing and dancing. Her favorite thing to do as a child was to visit nursing homes and sing for those who were there, as well as going fishing with her family. At 9 years old due to the success of a play, she received a ballet scholarship directly from the dance school's director. She is formally trained in film, television, theatre, and commercials. In 2013, she wrote and directed her first film, Ye of Little Faith, to dedicate to her mother. Grae has since then written and directed several short films. She has worked with Disney, Credit Karma, Universal, Hallmark, NBC, and many other companies. Her other passions include dancing, strategic games, working with children, and helping others. More than anything she loves making people smile and laugh, and uplifting them. Grae's mother has always told her to 'Be a Light', and that's exactly what she is out to do.
