New York native John Maria Gutierrez has worked as an actor, performer, and artist in 30 cities across 20 countries spanning 4 continents. Since graduating from New York University, John has performed in several theater and dance productions across NYC and the US including La Mama, New York Live Arts, Danspace Project, the Kennedy Center, and BAM Brooklyn Academy of Music. He got his first TV role on 'Law & Order: SVU' playing Chili Chacon opposite Ice T. He went on to make his film premiere playing Rudy, in the Sundance Grand Jury Prize winning film 'A Thousand And One' opposite Teyana Taylor, directed by AV Rockwell. Most recently John portrayed Gustavo Lopez as a Recurring Guest Star on 'Law & Order: Organized Crime'.
