Teresa Kadotani was deeply moved regarding her childhood friend Karen Williams Conner who passed away in her 20's from living a life on the streets. After several unsuccessful attempts to get her off the streets, she realized that her drug addiction was driving her need to remain on the streets.
The role in Lethal Weapon as "Hooker", and her friend passing away from a life of prostitution, drugs and violence inspired her to write a manuscript (Novella) for teens in jeopardy. The manuscript is available to parents and teens for an honest view on how wrong choices can devastate a life and ultimately lead to death. She has helped teens by volunteering her story, and answering questions for parents and their children.
