Ethan J. Knight was born on the 6th May 1982, in Ipswich hospital in
Suffolk England. He was raised in the seaside town of Felixstowe by his
mother and father. Ethan was an only child. Ethan realised his interest
in film after watching, Stand By Me, directed by Steven Spielberg at
the age of 8. From that point on Ethan joined the local drama school
where he first got cast as Danny Zuko in the stage production of
grease. In 1996 Ethan joined Italia Conti's outreach programme, where
he spent the next 3 years.
Ethan's first taste of film came late in 2011 when out of the blue he was contacted by an agency he had registered with to see if he would be interested in starring in the remake of Les Miserable. Whilst on set Ethan got the chance to pick that brains of Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe with the best course of action for his move into the film industry. Ethan instantly stood out among his peers and was quickly spotted by director Tom Hooper for his ability early on.
2012 was a busy year for Ethan with small parts in ITV's Mr Selfidge starring Jeremy Piven, Closed Circuit starring Eric Banner and Cuban Fury starring Nick Frost.
Ethan is rumoured to be playing the role of a Nova Corp in the new Marvel Production Guardians of the Galaxy.
