Milan Carmona was born in Pereira, Colombia. They have an older sister. Their mother raised both siblings as a stay-at-home mother and their father was a Lawyer in Colombia up until the family moved to Florida to flee the Colombian conflict. Milan lived from the age of 4 until 10 in Florida when their family relocated to London, Ontario where they spent most of their teenage years. Milan's interest in acting was sparked at an early age after watching their first real-person-performance television show, called Padres e hijos (1993) but didn't decide to pursue acting until watching a James Dean film , Cennet Yolu (1955) . Their parents enrolled them in acting classes at the age of 10 as a hope that Milan would lose interest in acting but the classes ended up further encouraging Milan's passion for professional acting.
