Born in Jersey City and raised in New York, Mark graduated SUNY Stony Brook and while studying a year at the University of Manchester in England, traveled throughout Europe and the Mid East with a backpack, inspiring his need to investigate what makes us all so different, yet all so much the same, imperative for performance. He returned to NY to work a gig as an undercover agent in NYC to make enough money to move to Los Angeles and a few months later earned his SAG card playing a junkyard night watchman in the very last episode of the TV series, The FBI. Mark began a long term study period with famed acting coach, Jeff Corey, cleaning out the studio and bathroom in place of tuition. Producer Aaron Spelling soon spotted him in a clothing commercial and cast him in many of his popular TV shows of the time. Guest roles at other studios soon followed, as well as recurring roles in Matt Houston, Paper Dolls, and Babylon 5. Soaps also took an interest with extended roles in Santa Barbara and Days Of Our Lives. Mark did his share of network pilots performing lead roles in Goldie And The Bears, Murphy's Law, and The Nightingales, but none went to series. He later worked in MTV's first stab at a soap format in Spyder Games and played the lead role in the 90-episode Fox series, Forever. Mark got his start in feature films starring in low budget productions like Burnout, and cult fave Supervan, driving the legendary George Barris created solar powered van. Roles in bigger budget films followed, in Ivan Reitman's Ghostbusters II, Blake Edwards' Son Of The Pink Panther, and alongside John Houston (in his last film appearance), A Minor Miracle. From the stage of Second City, to all genres of film and TV, Mark relishes the challenge of bringing a character to life. He hopes they will reflect a bit of you as we travel our own journeys. Mark admits, "my greatest reward is to share the ride with laughter, tears, with joy and revelation."
