Djiby Soumare' is an actor best remembered as the African taxi driver who drives the Walker couple (played by Harrison Ford and Betty Buckley) from the airport to the Grand Hotel in Paris in Roman Polanski's thriller Çılgın (1988). During the journey course, right in the early minutes of the film, a flat tire stops his journey with the main characters. His other film role was in the comedy Périgord noir (1989).
