Brett Austin Johnson was born in Washington, D.C. Johnson has been acting since the age of three performing at the Baltimore Center Stage under David Schweizer and Shakespeare Theatre Company under Michael Kahn. He is most recently known for "Five Feet Apart" (2019) as Jason in the CBS Films feature. Brett Austin Johnson is one of the latest young black actors to join the dramatic ranks of Morehouse College alumni.
