Alex Alonso grew up in Miami, Florida and prior to launching his acting career in 2005, was a Special Agent with the US Department of Homeland Security for over 26 years where he learned the unique craft of creating improvised characters and roles for actual law enforcement undercover operations. It was during the filming of the movie "Miami Vice" in South Florida, that Director Michael Mann selected Alex as one of the trainers to help the lead actors Colin Ferrell and Jamie Foxx in preparation for their roles as undercover cops. Alex landed a small part in the movie and was stricken by the similarities of how the actors and the undercovers developed their own twist on the characters they were playing. Acting became a passion and soon he was cast in other films, TV series and theatrical productions where he totally immersed himself in the characters taking great consideration in bringing them to life as they were meant to be...with his own twist that is. Alex studied acting at the distinguished "Central De Cine" school of acting in Madrid, Spain graduating from their intensive Master's Program. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian.
