Malin grew up with parents and twin-sister Jennie in a suburb to Sundsvall, a town in northern Sweden. Growing up her favorite activity was reading books, she also trained swimming and karate. At university she studied political science and English, and more than ever, day dreamed of becoming an actor. In 2006 she finally found the courage she needed to go to her first audition. It was for a short film and she won the part. Since then she have had minor parts in both features and short films, she is also a member of the theater group Svartviksspelet.
