Austin Michael Young was born and raised in Allentown, Pennsylvania. He has a deep passion and love for the craft. Austin trained with Terry Knickerbocker at the Terry Knickerbocker Studio in Brooklyn, New York. He can be seen in an episode of Black Mirror on Netflix and Tyler Perry's House of Payne.

Austin made his acting debut in 2011. He has since appeared in works including Unforgettable (2011)Finding Me: The Series (2012), Gotham (2014), The Detour (2016), Threebound (2019) and Vesuvius (2018).
