Born and raised on the beaches of Malibu, California, with a family NOT in the entertainment business, Emily chose to leave the cradle of Hollywood to pursue a television career in journalism.
Emily Frances is a seasoned multiple Emmy award winning on-Air Talent and journalist with over 25 years of Television Hosting, Reporting, Interviewing and Producing experience. Emily is recognized by colleagues, viewers and the people she interviews, for her charm, warmth, conversational interview style on camera and her creative, compelling magazine storytelling abilities as a producer and director.
From 2003-2010, Emily's On air career flourished as a household name in New York City as the multiple Emmy award winning stint as the Entertainment Anchor and Celebrity Interviewer on the WPIX Morning News in New York City, including an award for live coverage of the Oscar Red Carpet.
After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg School for Communications in 1992, Emily began her news and producing career, starting as an intern at KABC-TV in Los Angeles (1990-1992). From there, her journey took her to CNN headquarters in Atlanta (1992-1993) , followed by KMEX TV, Los Angeles' Spanish news channel (1993). In 1994, Emily was among the founding staff members of EXTRA, the long running Entertainment Show.
Emily began her On-Air career in 1997 as a Reporter for KOLD-TV, the CBS station in Tucson, Arizona (1997-1999). In 1999 Emily made a huge jump when she was offered a reporting position in the #1 market at WCBS TV in New York City.
Emily left WCBS-TV in 2001 to join the brand new "WB11 Morning News" at WPIX TV in New York, the sister station of KTLA in Los Angeles. She was a lead reporter covering huge stories like the terror attacks on the World Trade Center.
In 2003, Emily became a household name in New York after being promoted to be the Entertainment Anchor on the popular award winning WPIX Morning News and Host of "Live from the Academy Awards."
In 2013, Emily's spiritual, personal and professional journey led her to leave the glitz and glamour of her profession and the bright lights of NYC behind to movie to Israel in 2013 with her husband and 2 infants.
Emily is recognized around the world for her work as the Host and Producer of "Holy Land Uncovered," the biblical, spiritual and historical show on i24 News English, an international news channel based in Israel and broadcast in 20 Million US homes, as well as Europe, Africa and the Middle East. (2017- present). Emily's work is also broadcast on i24 News French and Arabic, which air around the world.
