Michael Jaroscak was the fourth of six children brought up by his
parents in the suburbs of Chicago. Michael embodied the typical
disposition of a middle child-- naturally silly and entertaining,
Michael loved to make others laugh, especially at the expense of
himself.
Michael's high school experience was devoted to sports. Other than being a "class clown," he excelled at baseball, football and basketball. Outside of sports, Michael spent endless afternoons, evenings and weekends watching and memorizing lines to entire movies. In class he would pass the time by writing out movies in script form.
After high school, he attended and graduated with a degree in broadcast communications from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he played Division I baseball, was a member of Theta Chi fraternity and acted in college theater.
After graduating college Michael was faced with the dilemma of what career path to take. Although he considered continuing with a career in baseball, instead he spent a couple years at an office job in Chicago and jumped into his acting career. He studied comedy and improv at the world famous Second City in Chicago. He also studied at Actone Studio where he realized his love for dramatic acting as well.
Within a few months after moving to Hollywood, Michael filmed a scene with Orlando Bloom and Jessica Biel in Cameron Crowe's Elizabethtown. Since then he has studied with some of the most respected acting coaches and casting directors in Los Angeles and is finalizing his first script.
