A twenty-five year veteran of the entertainment industry, Scott has been successful in and out of the spotlight. Behind the camera, Scott has served as Managing Producer on several feature films including his most recent projects, "Lost & Found" starring Justin Kelly, Benjamin Stockham, with Cary Elwes and Jason Patric through Sony Picutre Entertainment and "Lake Effects" with Life Out Loud Films which premiered on the Hallmark Channel, starring Jane Seymour, Jeff Fahey, Scottie Thompson, Casper Van Dien and Sean Patrick Flannery. Through his production shingle Sure Crossing Films and his boutique Producer's Rep firm Handshake Partners, Scott has helped produce and usher numerous films to the marketplace including the recent "#ROXY" starring teen stars Jake Short and Boo Boo Stewart, "Making Babies" starring Steve Howey, Eliza Coupe, and Ed Begley, JR and "The Trust" with Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood, "Bro" with Danny Trejo, "Blinder" with Rose McIver and Jack Thompson, and "Zombie Hamlet" with Shelly Long and Jason Mewes.
Scott also helped to create and develop Silverwood Films, a Los Angeles based Production Company behind such notable films as "Half Nelson" starring Ryan Gosling, "Stephanie Daley" starring Tilda Swinton and Timothy Hutton and "The Passage" starring Stephen Dorff.
Scott serves as the President of Melstar Entertainment, a multi-platform content company specializing in independent feature films, Miss Melodee Music & Entertainment, VR content for the new frontier in digital entertainment including the Digital App EVRLAND available on the iPhone App Store and film/music development for music.com.
Scott is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and has starred in over forty theatrical productions including two Broadway and National Touring shows performing with stars like Carol Channing, Kristen Chenoweth, Lee Roy Reams, Joanne Worley, and Cathy Rigby. He can be seen in several feature films including "Date Movie" with Alyson Hannigan, numerous television appearances, including the lead in the sitcom "Mafiosa" developed for Comedy Central, and he even has experience as a Student News Corps Anchorman with James Marsden for KOCO Television in Oklahoma City, but he admits that was a long time ago.
