Michael is a New Jersey native, now located in Brooklyn, NY. The son of a former musician, Michael began performing with the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, first through their Summer Professional Training Program, then making his way onto their Main Stage for the first time at the age of 16. He remained involved with the Shakespeare Theatre, appearing once more on their Main Stage while in high school.
Following his drive to be an actor, Michael attended Emerson College in Boston, MA, where he obtained his B.F.A. in Acting. Continuing to study and hone his craft, Michael worked on the main stage, as well as with multiple student-led theatre companies on campus. By the time he graduated, Michael had also worked with companies outside of the college, with reviewers noting his performances contained, "admirable smoothness and sincerity."
After graduating, Michael returned to the New York City area to pursue his career, appearing with the Shakespeare Theatre's Main Stage and professional touring companies while adding credits to his resume from around the country. His career continued to take strides forward in 2016, when he appeared for the first time Off-Broadway, in My Big Gay Italian Midlife Crisis, and in a major motion picture, with a scene opposite Kate Winslet in the upcoming Untitled Woody Allen film slated for release in 2017.
