Lucy-Rose Leonard was born in Melbourne, Victoria. She trained at Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London and Victorian College of the Arts. After graduating RADA, she played Helen of Troy in the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Shakespeare's Globe in 2019.

Lucy-Rose is known for such roles as Christine in Winners and Losers (2016), Grace in Golden Girl (2018) and Nikki in Crazy About You (2019).
