Having always been naturally talented and gifted in the arts, the performing arts were never even an interest until he attended The Academy of Art in San Francisco California. As a computer arts major, he was encouraged to take a communications course in order to improve his public speaking. It was during that course that his interest in the performing arts was first sparked. Taught by Michelle Darby, an actor herself and although titled communications, the goal of the course was achieved through the methodology of Improv. His interest in fine arts began to fade and a love for the performing arts became the priority.
After just one year, it was apparent that it was time to move back to his hometown of Los Angeles in order to pursue an career in acting. Upon returning Los Angeles, he achieved great success as personal trainer but was not making any progress towards acting other than having a dream. Not having any guidance or point of reference in regards to where to start, it was by pure luck that a personal training client who was already involved in the entertainment industry encouraged him and guided him with the knowledge that he was desperately searching for.
Shortly after, he booked his first job as an actor and appeared in Taiwanese music superstar Jay Chou's Shuang Dao music video. It was after that experience where he knew he had to establish his fundamental skills and enrolled in the Howard Fine Acting Studio. He quickly accelerated through the comprehensive curriculum training with the entire faculty which included Howard Fine, Laura Gardner, Ted Brunetti, Marilyn McIntyre, David Coury, Jean-Louis Rodrigue and Kristof Konrad.
While still studying at the HFAS his training immediately paid off as he was hired for his first pilot "I Did Not Know That" produced by Paul Reiser and Craig Knizek. Since then, he has recurred as Detective Calvin Moy on Amazon's "Bosch" and has appeared in network television shows such as "Cold Case" CBS and "The Middleman" ABC. His feature film credits include the star studded ensemble cast of the Farrelly Brother's "Movie 43" and he is also making an appearance in another star studded ensemble cast in the upcoming "The Laundromat" from director Steven Soderbergh and Netflix.
