Claud Allister 3 Ekim 1888'de Londra, İngiltere, Birleşik Krallık'ta doğdu. Bulldog Drummond at Bay (1937), Bulldog Drummond (1929) ve The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949) filmleriyle tanınan bir aktördü. Daisy Isabel Douglas Overend (aktris Dorothy Overend olarak da bilinir), Barbara Fay ve Gwen Dowling ile evliydi. 26 Temmuz 1970 tarihinde Santa Barbara, Kaliforniya, ABD'de öldü.
