Ashley Louise Jackson was born in Logan, Utah to Susan Budge, a retired health-care manager, and Blain Jackson, who works as an outdoor expedition guide.
Jackson's career was ignited in high school at the age of fifteen as an extra in the Jared Hess cult classic, "Napoleon Dynamite." The film was set in Ashley's high school, Preston High, and featured her hometown. Ashley was in college when the movie was released and sold "Vote for Pedro" shirts to supplement her athletic student income. For the next few years, Ashley continued to take parts in plays and musicals at her college, church, and local theatre productions. Growing up with her dad as a wildlife guide on horseback, Ashley is a skilled horseman. Her love of country and cowboy boots has lead her to be an icon in the western wear & agriculture industry dawning the handle @TheBootBabe and @TheCannabisCowgirl she has a secure foothold in the digital creator space on social media.
Ashley is a published author and can be found on Amazon with a book titled "Unstoppable: What Fear, Death, and the Cannabis Black Market Have to Teach Us About Living." She is a Cannabis advocate and has successfully helped millions of people navigate their journey with Cannabis.
Ashley attended the 2017 Cannes Film Festival assisting producer Carol Bidault de l'Isle and writer/director Jowan Carbin in securing worldwide distribution on the psychological thriller "Cut Off'," Executive Produced by William Baldwin.
Ashley attended the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and hosted the annual FEMME event with Bridget Burch-Cook
In 2022 Ashley was an Idaho Gubernatorial candidate and ran advocating for the legalization and decriminalization of cannabis and plant medicine. She is a speaker, covering taboo topics such as mental health, the pharmaceutical industry and human rights.
She is currently in development of multiple projects including, "Cannabis Country", "I Am Every Woman", "An Unstoppable Series" and the remake of an old classic, Urban Cowboy.
