Member of the Spanish pop band Los Brincos. He formed part of the bands Los Vándalos, Los Teleko and Los Flecos. He recorded an album as a solo singer for Philips. Then it was when Los Pekenikes payed their attention to him and he replaced their singer Junior. He sang in 4 songs and played the guitar in 12, among which he recorded a version of La Bamba and the hit Los cuatro muleros. The TVE program Escala en HI-FI made him an offer and so he left Los Pekenikes. When he met Fernando Arbex at the 'Norba' disco in Madrid, the seed for the music band Los Brincos was created. After the death of Luis Arbex, the band which later would be called Los Brincos was dissolved. Juan didn't like the new members and left the band. By that time, Luis Sartorius (ex-member of Los Estudiantes), who had just left the art department of Philips and entered the company Zafiro, had the idea of creating a Spanish response to the English beat music and specifically to The Beatles. That was how Los Brincos was born.
