Andrea Davis is best known for her work in the Amazon Prime hit series The Expanse where she plays Admiral Tesfaye. Andrea is also known for her standout performance as Sal in Thyrone Tommy's film Learn to Swim (2021) (a 54th NAACP Image Awards (2023) Nominee and an Official Selection of Canada's Top Ten at TIFF). Other credits include roles in Star Trek: Short Treks (2018), Rookie Blue (2010), Mary Kills People (2017), The Firm (2012), Hudson & Rex (2019), The Girlfriend Experience (2016), Orphan Black (2013), Aşk Kupası (2005) and 'Da Kink in My Hair (2007).

As a stage actor, Andrea has traveled the globe, performing in the internationally acclaimed play Recent Experiences (as The Daughter) which toured Europe, Australia, Canada and Hong Kong. Andrea starred as Charlotte, the lead role in Heaven at the World Stage Festival, Mrs. Dickson in Intimate Apparel at The Grand Theatre in London, The Nurse in Romeo And Juliet at the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, The Player Queen and The Priest in Hamlet at Canadian Stage, and in the critically acclaimed dramatic play Cement Shoe Tarantella as Jazz, which she co-wrote and co-produced at the Toronto Fringe Festival. Most recently, Andrea was seen as Daphne, the starring role in Trey Anthony's How Black Mothers Say I Love You for BTW (Black Theatre Workshop) at the Centaur Theatre in Montreal, which has the unique distinction of being BTW's most successful play in the company's 52-year history.
