Edward is a Creative Director, writer, and filmmaker born and raised in Chicago, USA. Upon graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2012, he was shortlisted for the Emerging Filmmaker Award by the Chicago Film Critics association.

Edward created, wrote, & directed DISPATCH, an animated cinematic VR narrative, which received overwhelming acclaim for its innovation, and is touted as one of the best VR narratives to date. The four-part experience premiered in competition at the 2017 La Biennale di Venezia Film Festival and the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, and won a Gold Lion at Cannes 2018.

Two of Edward's previous shorts were selected as Vimeo Staff Picks: Trust, a short film, and Violator, a short documentary about his father. His short form work also includes the sci-fi thriller TESLA, about an autonomous car ridding the world of carbon pollutants one pedestrian at a time, which circulated festivals in 2022.

In 2022, Edward was shortlisted for The Black List's NRDC Climate Storyteller Fellowship, ranking among the top 15 writers from over 400 applicants.
