Alejandra Ruiz Ocampo, performer, composer and activist, better known as Pambo, was born in Mexico City in 1987. Her father's work is related with Political Science and her mother works as a psychologist. Within her family she is the only one involved in the music industry. Her name Pambo was created due to her childhood friends who used to call her "La Pambolera", for being the only eleven year old girl, who played soccer in their community, so, Pambo was born. She showed a particular interest for music, since she was a little girl. At age 8, she was accepted at Escuela Nacional de Música and after High School, she attended Fermatta. She was the opening act for celebrity's Elan tours and participated in multiple showcases. Her most acclaimed songs include: Tras Nubes, Perdónand Te Quiero Más. She is an important Mexican supporter for the LGBTTTIQ+ community. In 2016 she became an ambassador for Levi's Pride Collection in Mexico. She worked along Camila Sodi in the Amores Residuales musical video from band Ella y el muerto.
