André Guiomar (born June 15, 1988) graduated in "Sound and Image" at The Catholic University of Portugal and finished his masters in "Cinema and Audiovisual" at the same university in 2012. Worked at Cimbalino Filmes in audiovisual projects and Video Mapping. His skills are mainly in cinematography and he also works as a movie director. He directed the short documentary Píton and was at the same time the cinematographer of this. With his movie Píton he won some awards and was selected for a lot of film festivals. Finished his first feature film as a cinematographer and editor, a documentary named A Mãe e o Mar directed by Gonçalo Tocha. Torres is his first experience in directing a fiction.
