Erin Lee Carr is a New York based director, producer and writer. Most recently, Erin directed the feature documentary "Britney vs Spears." The high-profile project was the #1 movie on Netflix in over 25 countries. Previously, her four-part documentary series "How To Fix a Drug Scandal" premiered on Netflix on April 2020. Erin's previous projects include "At the Heart of Gold: Inside the USA Gymnastics Scandal" & "I Love You, Now Die: The Commonwealth vs. Michelle Carter", which she directed for HBO and had their world premieres at the 2019 Tribeca & SXSW film festivals, respectively. "At The Heart of Gold" received a Critic's Pick from The New York Times and a TV Academy Honors Award. She has also directed and produced "Mommy Dead and Dearest" (HBO, 2017), "Thought Crimes: The Case of The Cannibal Cop" (HBO, 2015) and "Drug Short" (Dirty Money on Netflix, 2018). Erin was named one of the "All-Star 30 under 30" on a list of influential people in media by Forbes magazine in 2019. She is developing projects for HBO.
