Sayan's foray into the visual effects industry began when one of his effects posted online garnered international attention leading to a lucrative offer from DNEG arm, ReDefine.

He received his bachelor's degree in advertising and media communication from University of Mumbai. He is a proud cinephile and a technophile and enjoys traveling.
