Melanie Rose Wilson is an emerging Canadian actor born in North Vancouver, and raised in both Southern BC & Alberta. At age nine, Melanie stepped out of her introverted shell and landed the lead role in her elementary school play, which ignited her love of performing. Throughout high school she directed and starred in numerous one act plays, garnering her multiple awards at the provincial festival level. After graduation, Melanie returned to BC to pursue acting full-time. In 2013, Melanie graduated the Acting for Stage and Screen Program at Capilano University and has been making her mark in the Vancouver film & television industry since.

Most recently, Melanie can be seen starring in the indie feature "All in Madonna" [Blue Lake Films] as Maddie, which premiered at the Whistler Film Festival in December 2020 and earned her a 2021 Leo Awards nomination for Best Lead Performance Female Motion Picture. On television, Melanie has appeared on hit shows such as The 100, Batwoman, Jordan Peele's The Twilight Zone, and Siren, and is best known for her recurring eccentric character, Les-Lay, on DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

When she's not on set or refining her craft, Melanie enjoys time with friends and family, or unwinding with a good book. You may even catch her out for a stroll, with her head buried in one, somehow managing not to bump into oncoming pedestrians.
