Theatre director, actor, writer and filmmaker, Abhrajit has been an actor in theatre and television since the age of ten & took up formal training in filmmaking after finishing grad school. The founder-director of the performing & visual arts ensemble Whole 9 Yards, Abhrajit has brought innovative forms into the theatre of Kolkata. He represented Kolkata/India at the Impulse Theatre festival 2019, Germany, in Goethe Institut/Max Muller Bhavan's visitor's program for his contributions to Kolkata Theatre. Apart from making independent short films, he has worked as the First AD and associate director to many reputed Bengal and national filmmakers and has worked in countless regional and national feature and ad films, and also in international film projects.
