Now for the first time, the Drive-By Truckers release a live DVD.  It captures the first two shows that kicked off The Dirty South tour, live from the 40 Watt in Athens, Georgia.  The band's live shows have become legendary both for their length and power.  The DVD includes many songs from The Dirty South album, as well as favorites from all of DBT's other records.  It also includes backstage footage and interviews with the band.  This DVD is a must have for all DBT fans.  "Like our records, this is an artifact from a moment in time. Austin City Limits (ACL) heads to Nashville for a special broadcast featuring performance highlights from this year’s Americana Honors & Awards. ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2014 premieres this Saturday, November 22, on PBS stations across the United States and includes performances from Robert Plant and Ry Cooder, among many others. The show was recorded live at the Americana Music Association's 13th Annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in September.

ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2014

On August 19, 2013, Jason Isbell and his band The 400 Unit, stepped out onto the stage in front of a live audience in Austin, TX to film his first appearance on the longest running original music series in the U.S., Austin City Limits.  Isbell performs songs from his critically acclaimed, award-winning album Southeastern along with songs from throughout his career, including fan favorites Outfit and Decoration Day.  The set closed with a rousing rendition of the Rolling Stones Can't You Hear Me Knocking, a live staple.
