Paula Allen owns and operates, Screenland Literary Associates, a 15-year-old boutique literary agency specializing in assisting media companies and IP owners with their publishing needs. Screenland also matches authors to publishers, and screenplay writers to Hollywood studios and production companies. Some of Screenland's clients include Zag Inc., A+E Networks, NBC Universal, IFLScience, Cartoon Network, and National Talent LA.

Prior to Screenland, Paula was an executive for a combined 17 years at Nickelodeon and Warner Bros. running their licensed publishing businesses'. She started her career at Barnes & Noble, first as a buyer and then as a merchandise manager looking after several buying teams.
