Oyuncu
Freya was born in Hobart, Tasmania. She
first wanted to be an actress at a very young age because she 'wanted
to be like her big sister'. She got her first gig at the age of 8 in a
local production of 'Annie'. Freya graduated from the National
Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA) in 2000 at the age of 23, where she
was in many theatre productions such as 'Twelfth Night', 'There's no
need to wake up' and ' Three sisters'. She then made her television
debut as 'Basia Lem', a bisexual filmaker in the ABC series Head Start (2001) in
2001, although that television series didn't last more then a year. She
then went on to play the part of detective Harriett Walker in the
Channel Ten series White Collar Blue (2002).
