Garcia is the co-founder and executive director of the outre film festival Film Maudit 2.0. (FilmMaudit.org) He produced the independent psychological thriller, Excess Flesh. Garcia also produced "ten minutes is two hours," a short-form documentary video shot in South Sudan. Garcia is a filmmaker, producer, actor and an award-winning playwright and has served as Highways Performance Space's Artistic Director in Santa Monica since 2003 where he has developed and presented over 1000 performance works.
