BUZZMEDIA, as the L.A. Market Editor for California Home + Design
magazine and the Editor of California Meetings + Events magazine. As
the present Beauty Editor for RevoltionBeauty.com, Coplin works
alongside creator and celebrity make-up artist/TV personality, Julianne
Kaye (NBC's "Fashion Star" & E!'s "Live From the Red Carpet") to
provide readers with the latest tips, tricks, trends, deals, events and
ideas pertaining to health, beauty, fitness and wellness. She is
currently producing a documentary film titled What's Done In The Dark.
Prior to her current endeavors, Coplin served as the Managing Editor of 944 magazine where she covered the luxurious landscape of Los Angeles and its movers & shakers for over two years.
Formerly on-staff at the award-winning Us Weekly, she's no stranger to the glamorous and often times gritty world of Hollywood either. There, Coplin was responsible for delivering breaking celebrity news to more than 11 million people each week and single-handedly reported exclusive stories that were picked up by outlets all over the globe. Prior to joining Us Weekly, Coplin was a contributor to popular celebrity magazine, OK! and the Editor-in-Chief of luxury lifestyle publication,Scene Magazine in Chicago.
Working alongside Academy Award-nominated producer, David Weisman, Coplin served as an associate producer on the upcoming documentary, Edie: Girl on Fire. She also appears in the film, speaking as an expert on Edie Sedgwick and celebutante culture. In addition, Coplin was a contributor to Chronicle Book's 2006 release of the same name, Edie: Girl on Fire.
Coplin began her career as a writer for the New York Post and has contributed to CosmoGIRL!, CITY magazine, Zink magazine, Desert Living and Modern Luxury publications, among others. Her first novel,Pop Tart, was released by HarperCollins Publishers in the summer of 2009 with editions in the U.S., the U.K., Australia and in Harper's Spanish-speaking territories worldwide.
