Vyvian grew up in Sherborn, Massachusetts and enjoyed riding her horses and playing with her dogs, taking ballet, tap and tennis lessons and watching musicals in the theatre and on TV. Vyvian participated in the high school drama club, then focused on a business degree and began a career in the business technology industry. In 2006 the feature film industry came to town and Vyvian worked as an extra on a movie set and earned her SAG card on a second set a week later. Vyvian continued to work was an extra until 2009 when she returned to the technology industry for a short term project. In 2011 Vyvian returned to film industry, joined the IATSE union as a member of the production design crew and worked as a Set Decorator and Prop Master.

In 2014 Vyvian's oldest living relative was 100 years old with failing health and lived in Southern California. Vyvian left Boston and moved across the country to be closer to her and began working in the Software industry.
