Chason Schirmer was chosen to play Freddy Krueger in Nightmare on Elm Street 6: Freddy's Dead randomly from a group of extras. Chason also made an appearance in Prayer of the Roller Boys and a music video "Pass it on down" by the group Alabama. He no longer acts and now works in the beverage manufacturing industry.
