Jade has been acting since the age of six, and has been in variuos commercials, films and TV shows, as well as hosting many TV specials in Australia. He starred in the ABC's "Swap Shop" in 1990. Other roles in TV include parts in "Heartbreak High" and "Home and Away". In 1995 he began hosting the morning cartoon show "Cheez TV" for the Ten network, and in 1997 made his film debut in "Blackrock". Later that year he started hosting the late-night music program "Ground Zero", but he was controversially released from the show in July 1998.
