Danny Webber is a musician and actor living in Los Angeles. His main instrument is the piano and voice, singing and playing in the band Fade Up Fade Out Bye Bye, which he formed in 2012 with Kyle Newacheck and their friends Peter, Josh and Kayhan. His acting experience is heavily tied to music as well, performing in musical theater from the age of 15 on. He joined San Francisco sketch comedy group Killing My Lobster in 2010 and acted in Sketch shows and short films with them for three years before moving to LA. It was there he first got a taste of marrying his own music with video, when he acted in a short called Frankenstein's Dog. Shooting at a bar, while the lights and camera were being set up, Danny sat down at the piano and started improvising a tune. The director overheard and suggested Danny provide the music.
In LA, while playing music with Kyle and the band (FUFOBB), Kyle was working on his own show, Workaholics, and mentioned to Danny that he could use some music for an episode being filmed. This began Danny's more focused career on composing and recording music for television and film. He provided additional music for season 4 of Workaholics, including all the music for the episode, Beer Heist. He wrote more cues for Workaholics and Adam Devine's House Party, and in 2020, began writing for I'm Totally Fine, Brandon Dermer's feature debut about grief and reflection told through a sci-fi comedy lens.
For his second film score for Look At Me, Danny turned his tone darker for the thriller about gaslighting and betrayal, out in 2023.
Danny lives in Los Angeles with his wife, their dog and two cats.
