Dan Curtis 12 Ağustos 1927'de Bridgeport, Connecticut, ABD'de doğdu. Gazap tohumu (1976), Dark Shadows (1966) ve War and Remembrance (1988) filmleriyle tanınan bir yapımcı ve yazardı. Norma Mae Curtis ile evliydi. 27 Mart 2006 tarihinde Brentwood, Kaliforniya, ABD'de öldü.
