Claude Pinoteau was born on 25 May 1925 in Boulogne-Billancourt, Seine [now Hauts-de-Seine], France. He was an assistant director and writer, known for La 7ème cible (1984), Tokat (1974) and Patlarsam yanarsın (1980). He was married to Birte Pedersen and Margaret Mordaunt-Léonard. He died on 5 October 2012 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine, France.
