Oldfield, Yeni Zenlanda'nın yeşil tepelerinde ailesinin sahip olduğu çiftlik yaşamına uzak büyümüş, koyun fobisi olan bir bilgisayarcıdır. Pek çok koyunun beslendiği bu yeşil tepelere mecbur kalmadıkça ayak basmak istememektedir.  Yine böyle bir mecburiyetin doğması nedeni ile bir gün çiftliğe dönmesi gerekir. Ailesinden kalan çiftlikten kendisine düşen hisseleri abisi Angus'a satacaktır. Oldfield, çiftliğe doğru isteksizce yola çıkarken Angus oldukça tehlikeli işlere girişmiştir. Kurmuş olduğu genetik mühendislik ünitesinde oldukça sorumsuz işler yapmaktadır.  İşleri daha da karıştırmak üzere olan beceriksiz bir grup doğa aktivisti, Angus'un labaratuvarından bir mutant koyunu kaçırıp serbest bırakınca bütün çiftlik birbirine girer. Koyunlar, kendi doğalarından çıkarak kana susamış birer katile dönüşmüşlerdir. Oldfield'in en büyük korkusu ile yüzleşmesinin zamanı gelmiştir

As Willie begins to find a place in Bennie’s reckless nest of criminals, Solomon grows increasingly vulnerable to their father’s violent tendencies.
