Billy is an Award winning screenplay writer from Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The first script he wrote, The RoughNecks, was an Official Selection and Nominated at the 2020 Red Dirt International Film Festival. The second script Billy wrote, along with Larry Sellers and Jake Wilmott, was an Official Selection and Won Best Feature Screenplay at the 2022 Red Dirt International Film Festival and Won the Platinum Award for Best Feature Screenplay at the 2022 WRPN.tv Screenplay Competition. He enjoys screenwriting, acting, and many other aspects of the film industry, including foley work (sound effects) and other special effects. Billy has a background in emergency and crisis services, and has worked a variety of careers which make him a better screenwriter. He has had a love of film, from pre-production to post-production, and acting, since he was a child.
